Sponsor spotlight: Ocasta Engage

Tell us something about Ocasta Engage

Ocasta Engage is an internal comms and training app specifically for frontline teams.

Ocasta Engage

Comms teams write fantastic, engaging communications but then discover that whilst they’re being read, their frontline teams aren’t always putting them into action.

This knowledge gap causes performance issues, frustrations and a disengaged workforce.

Ocasta Engage solves this by letting comms teams create short microlearning and on-demand information to close the knowledge gap!

Why did you decide to become a sponsor of IoIC?

We’ve been working closely with IC professionals since 2015 and realised it was time to do more in the community, and there’s no better, prestigious community than the IoIC.

Everyone we meet in IC always has their finger on the pulse of the issues across their organisation — they’re the problem solvers and the “doers” that keep the business running!

In what ways does your organisation contribute to the internal communications community, and how do you see this partnership with IoIC enhancing that contribution?

We always focus on sharing high-quality research and using our access to our customers and the wider community to share insights that often get locked away inside organisations.

The IoIC allows us to reach even more willing sharers and provides a great community to share the findings.

What top 3 topics are you most interested in?

Knowledge gaps — it’s time to go beyond communicating! Internal communication professionals should start to see themselves as knowledge enablers, not just communicators.

Leadership support — how can IC teams better support the frontline leadership teams in delivering their communications?

Comms formats — how do different employees like to learn and communicate? Which has the biggest impact?

What are your highlights from attending the IoIC Festival as a sponsor?

It was great meeting Emily Hecker, who spoke about taking Internal Comms on a roadshow around the business!

Dominic Walters’ leadership insight aligns with some of the pains we’re hearing in the industry.

I had fun with the team coming up with ideas for the free stickers we gave the attendees.

We had lots of people win the stickers, chocolates, and signed books when they visited our stand to get a copy of our “State of Frontline Internal Communications” report.

Tell us a fun fact about your company that not many people know?

Ocasta is inspired by a Native American figure associated with knowledge, symbolising our commitment to providing frontline teams with essential information. This inspiration reflects our dedication to improving communication, learning, and knowledge access within organisations.
