IC Index Panel - Change

IC Index Panel - Change

Join us this autumn for a series of panel events, where we will be delving a little deeper into the findings in the IC Index

2024’s IC Index shows change is a constant challenge for organisations and its employees.

Here’s some of the figures the IC Index shows us about change:

  • 40% of people say their organisation has restructured just in the last 12 months

  • 25% say their employer has mandated that some employees spend a certain number of days in the office and the same proportion say there’s been a significant business transformation of some kind

  • Only 11% of managers say they’ve been trained in communicating change effectively.

And the impact of internal communication on change:

  • For employees that have been through a restructure, if their experience of communication is excellent, their belief that communication is open and honest is incredibly high, at 93%

  • Employees are asking for employers to be clear about the rationale for change, to be honest about its impacts and to listen to their views.

Only 10% of employees want fewer changes at one time, so with the inevitability and acceptance of change, this panel of industry experts will discuss the impact effective communication can have on change, AI and technology as both a cause and enabler of change, and how to support the continually changing needs of employees and business leaders in terms of where and how we work.

You can book onto the other IC Index Panels here.

This event will take place on Zoom. Once you have booked, click the 'Manage your booking' link below to access the Zoom details. Sessions will be recorded, sent to all those who registered and placed in the On Demand section of the Knowledge Hub.
