IoIC Festival 2025

In response to feedback from 2024’s Festival Goers and the ever-changing world of internal communication, we have revised both the zones and themes for 2025.

Your journey through the Festival…

We’ll kick off the days by looking at the latest insights from the third IC Index, offering a unique sneak peek into the employee perspective. What are the key trends shaping internal communication today? What are employees truly feeling, and how do we adapt to meet their needs?

From there, the Festival unfolds across six dynamic zones, each offering a distinct perspective on the future of internal communication.

1. Inspire: Industry pioneers and thought leaders - will take the stage to explore the biggest trends impacting business, society, and the economy. What do these shifts mean for internal communication? What role must we play in the evolving world of work?
2. Transform: Here you'll engage with industry experts through a mix of inspiring talks and interactive sessions exploring how internal communication drives change, builds trust, strengthens leadership, supports culture and enhances organisational success.
3. Discover: From internal voice, technology and AI, collaboration, leadership challenges, and having a business impact, there’s a focus on solutions in this zone – both through workshops and case studies. The sessions will help internal communicators with practical tools and solutions.
4. Collaborate: This zone is all about valuable insight and enhancing skills to become a better communicator. Interactive sessions will dive into storytelling, embedding kindness, channel refinement, using humour, understanding neurodiversity and empowering every voice (employees and your own).
5. Coach: Unlock your potential with live mentoring sessions in the new-for-2025 IC Clinic. Join a selection of industry leaders in a safe, confidential space to gain personalised guidance, actionable insights, and empowering support. Bring a challenge and an open mind, and you’ll collaborate to find your next steps, providing you with the tools, energy and focus to move forward.
6. Connect: With over 20 exhibitors, this space offers an opportunity to meet IoIC sponsors, experience practical demonstrations of their offerings for internal communicators, and engage in conversations with fellow Festival Goers, speakers, and the IoIC team. It's the zone to network, learn, and connect in.

Within each zone, we will be featuring a variety of themes and topics that you've told us are important in the world of internal communication, now and in the future. These themes are aligned with the key topics in the Knowledge Hub.

We will of course be agile in our sessions and will also cover topical issues that are relevant in June.
