This virtual course will explore how people interact, what makes you a trusted communicator, and how psychology, emotional intelligence, neuro and cognitive diversity allow you to build and maintain trust.

The Crisis Management and Resilience Workshop: Planning for the Unexpected can prepare you for crises, or unexpected events so you are always ready to respond swiftly, factually and honestly to retain the support of those who matter most: your employees and stakeholders. The course will show you how crisis planning enables you and your employees to prove your organisation’s dependability, show initiative and demonstrate leadership skills. It will encourage you to think “what if?” and to understand the short and long-term consequences of the change unexpected events can bring.

The course - split over two highly interactive sessions - will provide attendees with the knowledge and skills they need to steer through the strategic maze and deliver clear, concise and strategic communications. The course will equip participants with the understanding and tools they need to convert strategy into communications actions; play a role in strategy formulation and development; and the ability to prepare and implement their own communications strategy.

Companies are increasingly adopting Agile ways of working to ensure their businesses are set up to be sustainable for the future. This organisational agility is key to survive and thrive, but many companies are struggling to get their people on board with new ways of working. The Leading Agile Communications Course will provide IC professionals with knowledge and confidence around Agile working, and will equip them with a toolkit for communication planning and storytelling around Agile transformation.

This two-part interactive and practical virtual course will equip internal communicators with the knowledge, skills and tools they need connect with, and activate the communication power of, people managers. The programme will also support attendees with overcoming key challenges internal communicators face when working with people managers, the principles of providing feedback to support communication development, and building trust and compassion in manager-led communications.

This course will help internal communication professionals learn how to become effective business partners and trusted advisors to the senior leaders they support within their business. Delivered over two live sessions the course will include role plays, group discussions and a range of other interactive elements, allowing delegates the opportunity to support and learn from one another in between workshops.
