An exclusive, free training session for IoIC members.  Delivered by Dr David Brown from Heriot Watt University, this session will explore sustainability and the vital role internal communication plays in instilling and embedding sustainability. The session will be interactive and there will also be the opportunity for questions and comments.

This workshop will explore how culture works to shape organisational reality and why it is so difficult to ‘see’ it and change it. It will consider what kind of communication practice works for culture management, including how and when to communicate values and what these should look like for maximum effect. The course will also look at how how communicators can generate powerful insights about culture and how to use these insights to support leaders in shaping culture through communication.

This course is designed to help attendees make the most of their internal communication channels, enabling the delivery of meaningful and compelling communication, the cultivation of positive employee experiences, and facilitating effective multi-directional communication.

This Masterclass will cover what works, what doesn’t, the risks, the opportunities and most importantly, the benefits of AI for the world of internal communication. The session will also demonstrate best practice prompting using common tools. The session will be delivered by Tim Cook, AI Expert and former UK Government Advisor.

This virtual training course, led by Jo Hall, will equip internal communicators with the confidence to know what to measure and how to measure it and how to make good data-driven decisions and recommendations. The course will also provide ways in which relevant data can be used to demonstrate the positive impact and value that internal communication adds to their organisation. Reaching beyond the basics, this course on effective measurement and evaluation will be interactive and practical to truly boost your measurement capability and credibility.

This two-part interactive and practical virtual course will equip internal communicators with the knowledge, skills and tools they need connect with, and activate the communication power of, people managers. The programme will also support attendees with overcoming key challenges internal communicators face when working with people managers, the principles of providing feedback to support communication development, and building trust and compassion in manager-led communications.
