How can you to inspire and empower 53,500 colleagues, across 130 markets, to change their behaviors? How can you to build on the existing strengths of your culture, whilst also highlighting the changes required to be successful in the future? How can you to secure buy-in and overcome resistance by engaging diverse global audiences, including non-desk-based colleagues?
Boehringer Ingelheim is the largest private pharmaceutical company worldwide. In 2024, the company defined a new long-term strategy. With this came the development of five focused behaviors that all colleagues needed to adopt going forward.
Join this session to find out what happened in the first year of launching and embedding the new behaviors. Learn how change management, strategic communications as well as creative internal campaigning came together in an integrated change and communications approach. We’ll share successes, as well as lessons learned, that you can apply to your own global transformations.
Three takeaways from the session:
- It needs an integrated approach combining strategic comms, creative design and change management to truly reach hearts and minds – and drive adoption and impact
- Culture and behaviour change can only be truly take hold when embedded in people processes across the employee journey
- To demonstrate the ROI of internal comms and change, we need to build opportunities for measurement into the process
