Workshop
This interactive workshop we will explore curiosity as a critical intergenerational leadership skill.
Generation Z (born after 1997 – under 27) , currently make up around 20% of the UK workforce. Managing and engaging younger workers requires a nuanced approach that acknowledges their unique characteristics, preferences, and behaviours. Understanding the influences and behavioural patterns of Gen Z can help leaders build more successful working relationships.
Creating a work environment which acknowledges and embraces these typical characteristics will lead to a more engaged and productive younger workforce. So, how can leaders foster such an environment? How can they encourage engagement and understanding between the varying generations? The short answer is curiosity.
This session will demonstrate how curiosity isn’t just a trait but a skill that can be developed. By asking questions we can drive understanding, adaptability, innovation and harmony when leading teams from various generations.
Focusing on empathy, the interactive and inspiring session will specifically look at how to role model, stimulate and measure curiosity.
