Kate Waters, Internal Communications Lead at the University of Cambridge, will share the insights from her recent Masters-level research about the link between communication and culture change. She will highlight the vital role that internal communication plays in helping employees feel comfortable with change, and share practical tips that you can take back to your own organisation.

Kate has held senior communications roles in the charity, health and higher education sectors. A chartered PR practitioner with a Masters in internal communication management, she is particularly interested in how communication shapes organisational culture. In her current role, she is responsible for change communication at the University of Cambridge.
Outside of work, Kate lives in North Essex with her husband and two young children. She is passionate about travel, interior design and writing, and is currently trying to re-learn French after a 15-year break.
