This session is about language and story-telling techniques to bring more impact to communication. Organisational language can feel repetitive, jargonistic and inaccessible. And when realities don’t match stated expectations, words can feel meaningless and washed out into white noise.
The session explore how visual thinking can help you to ‘peel back the words’ to bring more meaning, shared understanding and impact to engagement and collaboration. We’ll explore through the lens of organisational culture and behaviours, so this session is particularly relevant to IC professionals working with internal change, who are managing strategic tensions and wanting more meaningful, inclusive staff engagement.
Key takeaways from the session:
- Explore how visual thinking can support more impactful sense-making, collaboration and engagement
- Understand, through practical examples, the ways that visual thinking can harness more inclusion and shared understanding on challenging topics
